Tom Verner
Group Managing Director
Before founding the Momentum Group, Tom spent 20+ years helping businesses across the UK expand and thrive. As the driving force behind Momentum’s success, his primary focus is on business development, client acquisition and building lasting partner relationships. Tom’s vast business experience and flair for bringing the most talented corporation tax professionals into the fold has shaped Momentum’s position as a leader in the market.
When he's not at the helm, Tom can be found reading, socialising and playing a rare game of golf

Simon Huntley
Commercial Director
A highly experienced business professional, Simon spent 27 years in senior positions at a NASDAQ listed Global Financial Solutions company and Santander before joining the Momentum team. In his current role, he excels in inspiring our sales division to achieve new client acquisitions and renewals, in addition to developing the wider sales force. His vision and talent for fostering an exceptional team spirit play an integral part in Momentum’s continued success.
In his downtime, Simon enjoys Formula One, spending time with family and friends, eating out and sipping on a single malt whiskey

Jayne McKee
Financial Director
Jayne joined the business as Head of Project Finance in 2015. A talented Chartered Accountant and finance professional, she took on the responsibility of managing the overall company finances in 2020 and oversees financial reporting, management accounts and the Xero accounts package. Her extensive financial knowledge and enthusiasm for helping clients receive the maximum benefit from their R&D tax claim make Jayne a valued asset to the Momentum team.
When shes not busy calculating tax claims, Jayne spends her time walking the coast, baking and travelling in Europe.

Steve Morley
Operations Director
With decades of commercial experience, Steve’s unrivalled business insight has proved invaluable to Momentum, and to our clients. Throughout his career, he has excelled at business strategy and development, delivering improved operational efficiencies, driving growth, implementing organisational change and creating high performing teams in complex operating environments. With a depth of knowledge across multiple sectors including Defence, Security, Maritime, Ports & Logistics and Facilities Management, Steve’s input is instrumental in helping our clients make the most of R&D tax relief.
In his spare time, Steve can be found walking his chocolate lab Chunky and trying to get his golf handicap to single figures.
